Inchigeela Festival starts on Thursday, August 15th - Sunday, August 18th.
This is YEAR 10 - so there is some big things planned for this years festival. You can get tickets for each night of the Marquee at the caravan on the night. Cash and ID required. The festival is located in a residential area so please be mindful of the neighbours There is also plenty of events on outside of the Marquee. Fun Run on Friday 16th - Race starts at 7.30pm (proceeds going to our local hospitals in Macroom and Dunmanway) Children's sports day on Sat 17th. A weekend of horse racing, music, trade and events for all the family will take place in Dunmanway over the August Bank Holiday weekend. For over 500 years people have travelled from every corner of Ireland to celebrate this iconic fair. Celebrations include:

3 Ball scramble Tee Time Available from 4pm Entry Fee - €15 per team Prizes for - First Gross & First Nett Light refreshments on the night Everyone is welcome The Sam Maguire 7’s is a family event which is set to take place on the 7th September in the Sam Maguire GAA Grounds Dunmanway with the Doheny GAA Club, the Dunmanway Chamber of Commerce and the Sam Maguire Community Bells Committee. Dunmanway is steeped in GAA tradition and is very proud of its most famous patron, Sam Maguire. We wish to build on the existing legacy of Sam Maguire by embracing one of his loves, our national games.
GAA teams and their familes are invited from all over Ireland to Dunmanway on Saturday, 7th September to participate in both ladies and mens competitions. There will be all day family entertainment, including music by our local Comhaltas Committee. There will be tribute to Sam Maguire on display in our Pavilion and there will be hourly bus trips to Mallabracka, the homsetead of Sam Maguire as well as trips to the newly installed sam Maguire Community Bells. Presentations and a prize giving ceremony will take place on Saturday evening in the company of GAA greats. This promises to be a late night!
